When you become a mom you have less and less time for things you used to have all the time in the world for. I have found that there are a few apps that I use quite often that make my mommy life a little easier so I thought I’d share some of my favorites with you too!
GROOVEBOOK - $3.99 (monthly subscription)
I really LOVE this app. What do you do with all those lovely photos you take of your kid/kids every day? Probably nothing. They are probably collecting dust in your DropBox because who the heck has time to download them and print them? Not me!
Well, Groovebook does that for you. The app is free but it does require a monthly subscription of $3.99. Which isn’t bad at all considering what you get. Each month you can upload your photos directly from your phone, to the app and they will print up to 100 photos for you and mail them to you in nifty little books. It’s awesome. The pictures also have these nice perforated edges so they are easy to rip out if you want to share them with family.

Shopping with a baby or toddler is NOT easy. As parents we know how important it is to save money too. (Those college funds are not going to grow on their own) So Target has developed this awesome app that allows you to click coupons directly in the app. When you get to the register the cashier will scan your personal bar code on the app and that’s it! Your coupons get deducted from your total and you’re on your way back to the car in no time.
Another money saving tip for Target…the Target Red Card. You can save 5% on every purchase with this card. It is tied to your checking account and has no fees. You just swipe your Red Card at the register and your total gets reduced by 5% and will be deducted directly from your checking account.
With this card you also get other benefits like free shipping on online orders. I have noticed it does take a day or two for the money to be withdrawn from your account so keep in mind it isn’t an instant transaction.
TARGET CARTWHEEL - FREE APP
PBS KIDS - FREE APP
I don’t know about your little one but Channel 11 is a favorite in our household. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Sesame Street and Wild Kratts are some of Gianna’s favorites. Every now and then, we need a temporary distraction when we are out and about or on a long car ride. I am not too keen on giving Gianna my phone to play with so this is usually a “treat” for her. It’s nice to at least have some educational shows at my fingertips so I don’t feel so bad about letting her play with mommy’s phone for a little while.

OFFER UP - FREE APP
I am all about saving my pennies, especially on some things you know you won’t use for a very long time. OfferUp is a great place to search for items that people are selling. Similar to Craigslist however, you can message the person directly through the app and ask questions or bid on the item. It’s really simple. I especially like selling some of Gianna’s baby items we will no longer need on there. You can simply snap a photo, upload the picture, give it a price and short description, and just like that, it’s up for sale! Super easy and convenient!
