Have you seen the show Feed the Beast on AMC? My husband loves it! And I have to say, so do I! The show is about two best friends who open a restaurant in the middle of The Bronx. The journey there involves drugs, money, lies, deaths, the works! You know, all those grimy things we look for in a good show. Ha!
One of the lead actors, David Schwimmer, or how I like him, "Ross", plays Tommy Moran a Sommelier. Which is really why my husband was intrigued in the first place. He LOVES wine and has been studying wine for almost 3 years now. He has a Level 2 Certification with the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), fancy huh?
Anyhow, in this past Tuesday's episode the chef, played by Jim Sturgess, grabbed some croissants, eggs, and a few other unknown ingredients, to make this delicious-looking breakfast. We immediately thought we need that in our lives!
The next morning my husband was in the kitchen and whipped up some Croissant French Toast and it was AH-MAZING! I asked him how long it took to make this ever so tasty breakfast and he said,"Like 10 minutes". I thought, what a perfect recipe to share with my fellow mommies!
I know the kiddies can sometimes get tired of scrambled eggs and pancakes. And if you are anything like me, I run out of ideas ALL the time. This dish is not only quick and simple, but all the ingredients are most likely already in your pantry. Plus, it's kid-approved by Gianna!
