Last year was the first year I created a vision board and I fell it made a difference in my motivation to accomplish my goals. This year, I decided to try something a little different to make it more functional and easily accessible for myself. There are a few things you want to do before creating your vision board.
- Create a list of categories that are important aspects in your life. For example, finance, kids, marriage, fitness, work, etc.
- Then, make small notes of what you want to accomplish in each category.
- Next, decide where you want your vision board to live. Do you want it on your bedroom wall? In your office? Or, like I did here, in you planner?
- Now, decide what you want it to be placed on. A poster board, picture frame, cork board, or decorative cardstock.
- Next, grab magazines, stickers, stamps, printable quotes, etc. so you can begin finding images or words that reflect your categories and goals.
- Lastly, glue, staple or tape your images to your chosen board/location.
