This week I tried a little something new in my Happy Planner. I have had my planner since January and have been figuring out how it works best for me. I love that you can make it your own with just a little creativity.
I used some washi tape to cover the Morning, Afternoon and Evening titles on the layout. Instead, I separated the days with Home, Work and Blog/Other. These are the things I know I need to focus on throughout the week, daily. Since I work at home my time is more flexible and I don't like to be tied down to mornings, afternoons and evenings. This image was "before the pen" as they say. I just placed a few main events down. I have grown to love using my stamps to highlight special events, meetings, etc. And I always like to use a motivational sticker of some sort for some encouragement through the week.
I am also excited about finally using my new hydration stickers from It's Planning Time. I am horrible about drinking water! I am hoping this will help motivate me to get my 8 glasses in a day. As moms, we do so much for everyone else all day long. I am learning, although it's hard, that we have to take care of ourselves too. So even adding little reminders like this in your planner, can totally help. Let's see how it goes!
If you have any special tips on how you tie in some "mommy time", please share in the comments section above. I'm sure we can all use help in that area.
